Hollywood & Vine is a buffet-style dining experience located in the Echo Lake area of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, right across from Gertie the Dinosaur. The restaurant hosts seasonal character dining parties featuring beloved characters like Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto.

During our visit, we experienced Minnie’s Summertime Dine, a beach-themed party celebrating the joys of summer. The best part? It’s not just the food that’s fun—it's the characters, music, and theming that bring the whole experience to life.

Ambiance: A Step Back in Time to the Golden Age of Hollywood

As soon as you walk into Hollywood & Vine, you’ll notice the décor inspired by the golden age of Hollywood. The restaurant features vintage photos of Hollywood landmarks and art deco touches, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. The theme of the dining experience changes seasonally, so you can enjoy different vibes throughout the year. During our visit in July, the theme was Minnie’s Summertime Dine, which is all about fun, sun, and the sizzling vibes of summer.

Character Dining: Meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto

One of the main highlights of the Minnie’s Summertime Dine experience is the chance to meet Disney characters while enjoying a meal. During lunch and dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with:

  • Minnie Mouse

  • Mickey Mouse

  • Goofy

  • Pluto

We had the pleasure of seeing the characters multiple times during our meal, thanks to the low crowd during our visit. We were able to enjoy the characters up to 4-5 times! Minnie even took a moment to say hi to my mom on the phone. At times, the characters will do a mini dance party, adding even more fun to your dining experience.
