Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back for 2022! So if you are thinking of heading to the celebrations this year, I'll go over all the details to help you decide if this will be worth it for you and your family.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed Halloween-themed event located at the Magic Kingdom and is running now until October 31st. The tickets this year run anywhere between $109 to $179 for adults and $99 to $169 for kids between the ages of 3-9.
The Party offers a variety of entertainment, specialty food and beverage, unique magic photo locations, character meet and greets, as well as Trick or Treating locations all throughout the Magic Kingdom.
Party-goers are encouraged to come in costume!
However, please make sure that whatever you choose to wear is comfortable to walk around in, and family-friendly. Disney does reserve the right to turn you away at the gate if your costume is questionable in any way. If you would like to have more guidelines on what to wear, I'll link Disney's official costume guidelines here.
You are able to arrive at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as early as 4 p.m. to give you a few additional hours to enjoy Magic Kingdom before the festivities start. They have a separate entrance for party-goers, where you’ll get your wristband, and then be welcomed into the Magic Kingdom which is completely decked out in beautiful fall decor.
Make sure to grab an event guide as you arrive that contains all showtimes, locations of all the event highlights, the parade route, as well as other event details.

Tip and Tricks
You are able to get to the park as early as 4 p.m. So, if you do want to spend a few extra hours inside Magic Kingdom, you can utilize this time in the merchandise line or waiting in line to see Jack & Sally.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event, so you do have to pay extra to do the party. Unfortunately, your day ticket to Magic Kingdom will not give you access to the festivities that night.
If your event night is sold out like ours was, the lines during the event most likely will be kind of long…so, you’ll have to make sure to be highly selective in the things you want to do because even if the line is only 45 minutes…with only 5 hours of time during the party, it can eat up a good chunk of your night.
Hopefully, it doesn’t rain during your event like ours, but if it does - keep in mind that it will typically delay or cancel the shows and parades during your visit. Which may eat up a lot of your time if you hang around waiting for a show to start. If it starts to rain, most likely they will cancel a show - so, you might be better off squeezing in another activity versus waiting. But, that’s up to you.
If you attended Boo Bash last year, a big difference is that there are no complementary snacks, or drinks - like the popcorn, ice creme, and soda like last year… other than the Halloween candy.
